    Costal Management Bondi Beach Coastal Processes – Costal Processes are the variety of ways that landforms are made and shaped. The Costal Process come under two different sections, Erosion and Accretion, Erosion is “the process of eroding or being eroded by wind, water, or other natural agents” and Accretion is “growth or increase by the gradual accumulation of additional layers or matter”. Erosion comes in many forms but the 5 main forms of Erosion regarding to Costal Process are: 1. Corrasion – is caused when running natural water, waves, glaciers, wind, or gravitational movement causes erosion by friction. 2. Abrasion – is caused by loose rocks scraping or wearing a surface by wind, waves, natural water, etc. 3. Hydraulic Action – is erosion caused by the movement of water wearing away at a rock surface. 4. Attrition – is when the bed load is eroded by itself causing it to breakup into small pieces. 5. Corrosion – the deterioration of metal caused by saltwater, gasses or other substances.
