Why a Multimedia Treatment? This story deserves a multimedia treatment because of the vast array of people Lorne Avenue Public School has affected throughout its many years in operation. In addition to teaching students for 141 years, there as been an ongoing debate between the parent council of Lorne Avenue, the city of London, and the TVDSB. However, despite the parent council and the community’s effort, Lorne Avenue Public School will be closed, and it deserves a dedicated send off as a thank you from the people in Old East Village. By implementing a multimedia treatment to this story, we can effectively tell the long history of Lorne Avenue through various photos and an interactive timeline. As such, through video, readers can be introduced to some of the many people Lorne Avenue has influenced throughout the year.
