Stray cats maintain a very harsh life and do not live for a long period of time. These cats are likely to pact and spread diseases. Hunger may lead to kill them along with other small creatures such as birds or mice. As they also recreate new stray kittens because of the fact that most of them are not neutered or sterilized. Helping stray or homeless cats can be resolved by gaining the stray’s trust, scheduling a visit to the vet and finding a safe home for the homeless cat. First of all, to build up a trust relationship with a stray cat may be challenging. Putting out food for it can be a good start to obtain the stray’s trust. Put down a dish of dry or wet food at a safe spot that cannot be accessed by mutts or raccoons for instance. Stay a few feet away from the food so that the stray cat could recognize the scent of the human body.
