Apollo 13, also known as (AS-508), was suppose to be the third mission to land on the moon. The crew on the spacecraft consisted of Fred W. Haise, Jr., lunar Module Pilot, John J. Swigert, Jr., command module pilot, and James A. Lovell, Jr., commander. Launched at 2:13 p.m. on April 11, 1970 from the launched from complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center. The Apollo 13 mission was planned to launched and land on the moon and return back to Earth. Unfortunately, after about 56 hours into their flight, an oxygen tank crippled due to an explosion inside of it. The damages this caused forced the crew to only orbit the moon and head back toward Earth without landing. This was the creation of the now famous line, “Houston we’ve had a problem…” The lunar module (LM) ended up landing on Earth on April 17, 1970 at 1:07 p.m., landing in the Pacific Ocean The overall duration of the mission was 142 hours, 54 minutes, and 41 seconds, with a total of 622,268 miles. Apollo 13 began the first aborted Apollo mission. And the intended landing area on the moon, the Fra Mauro area, later began the landing of Apollo 14. Five minutes after takeoff the crew members felt…
mastery on the assignment in Module 1. Module 1 content was readings from the IRIS website. The content I read related to classroom behavior problems that an educator would encounter and strategies that could be used. After reading the IRIS module I was able to complete the assignment for module 1 with ease. The assignment questions were well written that I was able to complete with the material I had just read from IRIS module. 2. Reflect and discuss how the content in Module 2 prepared you…
Hebrew and even Greek. Apollo is one of the Gods in Greek mythology who is favored. He is recognized as the God of many traits, such as: god of music, truth and prophecy, healing, the sun and light, plague, poetry, and more. Solar Energy The sun is the most abundant energy source available and used on Earth, hands down. The problem is, much of the energy from the sun that is used on Earth is used by primary producers, not by us, and what they do use is an incredibly small compared to the 89,300 TW retained on Earth at any instant. What we use is smaller still (22). The first step in harnessing the awesome potential our very own star is understanding just how to do that. Think of the inside of a solar cell, the…
Shocking to me, Luminalt’s website had a lot of customer reviews, every page displayed a comment from a satisfied customer. At this point I was tired of seeing customer reviews. There were a plethora of articles in the ‘news and events’ section. This is the only section that advertises what Luminalt has done for the community and other community-building related events. With over 700 solar systems installed, Luminalt have installed systems for any requirement, from nonprofits, to resturants,…
temporary workers partook in the program. First Apollo launched in 1967 and ended with a tragedy and the last one Apollo 17 hosted the first scientist-astronaut to land on moon:…
other irradiance, G, is I_l (G)=(G/G_0 ) I_l (G_0) 2 Voc Voc, the open circuit voltage, is the voltage measured with an open circuit. It is measured with the module in full sunlight using a voltmeter attached to the positive and negative leads of the module. On the I-V curve, this is the point where the curve crosses 0 amps. This is the maximum voltage that the module can produce on a sunny day…
