It is required in almost every sector in this world. Higher education can greatly improve if technology was to be incorporated into its system. The technologies that are in use currently have a great impact on the higher education system; this, however, is not appreciated by everyone. Due to lack of awareness and other constraints, the technologies are not fully accepted and integrated into the system. This paper discusses aspects that relate to technology in higher education on matters such as the attitude towards the technology by the students, approaches for encouraging the incorporation of new technology into the higher education system, importance of technology in higher education and technology improvement grants by professors. Attitude towards the technology Despite the fact that technology is created with the sole purpose of improving the state of higher education, a portion of the students in higher education do not take the new technology positively.
