Did I ever tell you about the time I went to Disney World? This story is about my family and me on our trip to Disney World in March of 2013. I was 14 years old at the time of the trip. The first day, we went to the Magic Kingdom. We immediately headed for the Tomorrowland section of the park so we could ride “Space Mountain.” After that, we headed towards Adventureland so we could ride “Pirates of the Caribbean;” Richie and Ryan were in the back of the boat and it would occasionally drag on the floor, which some of us found funny … others not so much. We wanted to ride “Splash Mountain” and “Thunder Mountain,” but we didn’t want to get wet and “Thunder Mountain was closed. The second day, we got up early and went to Epcot before it opened. Mr. B took our pass cards after we went in and ran off to get us fast passes for “Soarin’.” After he came back with the fast passes, we went and rode “Mission: SPACE.”…

The summer of 2015, I went to Disney World with my mom and step-dad. We had this trip planned since we hadn't gone for a while. On our second day there we went to Hollywood studios. For a while, I have been wanting to ride the rollercoaster Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, but I was not at the required height. Finally this year I had a growth spurt and I could now ride it. This ride is the fastest roller coaster in Disney World. It starts off fast, going from 0-60 in less than a…

For me, every spring break is characterized by a short trip to either Bald Head Island, or my uncle and aunt’s house in Georgia. This spring break would be different though. A day after Easter Sunday, my parents told me, my brother, and my sister that we were going down to Georgia. We were excited for the trip, as we are all trips, but we would be a lot more excited about four hours into the six hour drive to Georgia. My parents pull the car into a rural, roadside gas station, fill up the car,…

As a child, I was outside almost all the time. I would either be on my family farm working or in the backwoods that are on our farm. I love the outdoors because they are so perfect because they are so beautiful and great. As a farm boy, the outdoors are what I have been around my whole life and all I have known. Therefore, I honestly wouldn’t know what to do without them. I remember a couple of years ago, my family went on a excursion to Disney World, and I wasn’t myself, I felt like I…

“Were going to Disney World!!!!!!” I said as my mom told us two weeks prior to leaving. “*land” my mother corrected. At that time, I felt like Iwas dreaming! I mean who wouldn't when you just got told you were going to California? The evening before we or plane left at four in the morning, felt like it was one-thousand years instead of less than twelve hours away. We went to Wellington and ate at El Chilie Verde so we didn't have leftovers sitting in our fridge for a week. I had two cheese…

Every child looks forward to their first trip to Walt Disney World but, in my case, when we arrived at the gate my mom told us she forgot the tickets. I went with my mom and my brother, Alex, in the summer of 2012. This was the first time we had been on a plane as a family. On the night that we arrived, we were tired of the long day of travel and relaxed in the pool. The second day, we started off in Animal Kingdom. In the park there was a jungle safari ride that was a family favorite. My…

all started when this big trip was put together my 7th grade year of school to take a vacation all the way down to Florida. We decided to go to a place some friends recommended to us, this place is called St. Augustine.
