Essay On Florida Vacation

I will never forget the time I went on vacation to Florida because of the experience I had with my family on the greatest vacation ever. It all started when this big trip was put together my 7th grade year of school to take a vacation all the way down to Florida. We decided to go to a place some friends recommended to us, this place is called St. Augustine. What really sparked my family’s interest in going was the fact that St. Augustine is the oldest city in the United States. So not even a week after the school year ended, my family and I took off on our 1,000 mile trip to Florida. We traveled there in our giant motorhome, this made it easier to stay somewhere over night on our two-day trip there. We traveled for a total of 18 hours and passed through various states on our way there. After a couple days of traveling we finally arrived in St. Augustine and had …show more content…

After a comfortable two week stay in St. Augustine, we were finally going to make our trip to Disney World. While there, I realized that you always hear about how great Disney World is and how much fun you will have there, but one thing they never tell you is how unbelievably long the lines are. Although, this is not surprising because this happened during the beginning of summer break, when everyone gets out of school, but regardless of the lines I still had heaps of fun while staying at Disney World. The long trip home started after three days of fun at Disney World. This ride passed by much faster though, I used up all my energy on vacation and slept the whole entire time on the way home. Thus ended the greatest family vacation I have ever

Search and Rescue in the Florida Everglades Search and Rescue (SAR) in the Florida Everglades provides a unique challenge due to the remote location and operations can often only be attempted by boat or aircraft. A suitable replacement for manned aircraft in these search and rescue operations could be a quad rotor unmanned aerial system (UAS). Manned aircraft, whether fixed wing or helicopters, are expensive to fly and maintain. A fleet of small quad rotor UAS equipped with a SAR specific sensor loadout, could be carried on boats and deployed on location to provide support (“S9 SAR”, n.d.)…

From smelling the salty waters by the Florida Keys, seeing all of the green from the stems of green beans growing, the flavor of the freshest eggs you could get from the coop in the backyard, to the avocado tree growing in the backyard, my trip to Florida had become one of the greatest life experiences I’ve had yet. Visiting Florida taught me many skills on being independent, mentally, and how easy and fun it is just to be to yourself sometimes. It all started Christmas eve when I got home to find my presents from “Santa” there before we even went to bed. My parents had planned on taking a vacation to Florida for Christmas break to see my grandparents, but we were unable to also get my parents there.…
