    Of course a good point that gets brought up here is that even though your child won 't legally have to go to a specific school, your budget might still make the decision for you. Many Americans assume that public schools are not nearly as expensive as sending their children to private school when, in fact , Rockwell provides a link to a proposal called “The Universal Tuition Tax Credit: A Proposal to Advance Parental Choice in Education” that proves that public education ends up costing parents twice as much as private schools do. Wouldn’t you like to know what your money is being used for? You can choose to stop giving a company your money if you’re dissatisfied with their service, but you can’t choose to just stop paying your taxes without the government penalizing you. You pay your taxes, and those taxes get put into whatever the school district you’re in sees fit.
