All three students have strengths in being very observant in class. This notifies me that I need to engage the class is a discussion. A debate or Socratic seminar might work best for this class and especially these three students because of how vocal they are. However, their weaknesses and the ways in which these three learn are very different. I would never be able to pair Aiden and Logan because Aiden is dependent on another person, and Logan is independent and works best by working alone. Aiden and Alex, on the other hand, would be okay working together because they both prefer to work in groups or partners. Alex and Aiden’s strong abilities in presenting information verbally allows them to give each other more ideas and help one another form a stronger argument or answer. Since both of them are classified with IEPs and neither of them are strong at written expression, I would still need to accommodate how they should present their answer or argument. I would have them do an oral presentation because I know they would be able to inform the class and myself that they are knowledgeable of the content. Alex, Aiden, and Logan are all interested in video games. This is about the only thing these three have in common outside of the classroom. Their interest in video games allows me to infer that they are good at strategizing, and have great hand-eye coordination. A difference that I have noticed is the school spirit in each of these three students. Alex is the student who has…

people are going to disagree in something but I am a strong believer on being slow to speak and fast to listen. For example, I recently had a conflict with my manager at my current job because I had asked her in advance for a day off and it was approved, but once the schedule came out, I was schedule to work that day. I calmly went to her office and I brought it up to her attention, she explained to me that she really needed that day and I was upset because I needed to have that day off to…

Who Am I ? “Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.” Dr. Seuss once wrote this poem which was music to my ears growing up. Until about 8 years later on a random Facebook search, I found about four other individuals who share my name. However, our similar names do not connote similar personality…

Softball What started out as a men’s football game in Chicago, Thanksgiving day of 1887, lead to the greatest women’s sport, softball. At the end of the Yale football game, brooms were being used as “bats” to hit boxing gloves that were being thrown. There may be a lot of women’s sports, but what makes softball the best of them all?
