Within those two groups some of the factors we will be testing for are mass, total volume, and molar concentration. At the end of this experiment we should know the values and the effectiveness of the antacid. Procedure: This lab will be divided into four parts. The four parts will be divided into two trials for each part. Each part will produce results that will be recorded. During part A the experimenters are tasked with dissolving antacid. The first step for this part is to obtain an antacid. One the experimenters have an antacid in their possession they need to grind it with a mortar and pestle. When the grinding is complete the experimenters need to measure and record the mass of the 250 ml Erlenmeyer flask. After the measuring is complete the experimenters need to add no more than 0.2 grams of the crushed antacid to the flask and measure the total mass. The experimenters need to the record the mass of the flask, mass of the antacid, and the total mass of the flask and crushed antacid. For the second part of part A the experimenters need to pour the 25 ml of 0.1 HCL solutions into a clean flask. Once, the solution has been poured in the experimenters needs to swirl the flask.
