    The invention of the car was the innovation of the horse drawn buggies that people in the 1800's used. The first car was a three-wheeled motorized vehicle patented by Karl Benz. It was called the Motorwagen, which had its own throttle system, spark plugs, gear shifters, a water radiator, a carburetor and other fundamentals to the automobile.
