An automobile is a transportation device that can move on its own. Over time, cars have developed significantly and changed the economy in a big way. The first car patented was created by Karl Benz. Karl Benz was a German mechanical engineer. He got the idea from his thoughts of a self-driving car. He had no trouble finding the parts he needed because the business he owned supplied parts that could be used in cars. The car he created was called the Motorwagen. He started to create it in 1866. Ferrari was able to make the Ferrari F40, which could top speed of over two hundred miles per hour(1970’s automobiles). The F40 was the first car to ever reach over two hundred miles per hour. The eighties also included every car having an AM/FM radio. The nineties made SUV’s very popular and affordable. In the nineties due to the war, hummers became very popular(1990’s automobiles).
