Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Halifax, Nova Scotia, was presented to Oldenburg, in 2005; received awards from College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, in 2005, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, 2011. In 1999, Oldenburg and Coosje Van Bruggen co-created the “Shuttlecock/Blueberry Pies I and II.” The Shuttlecock/Blueberry Pies I and II are made with a Sculptured medium with cast aluminum paint and acrylic urethane. The sizing of this sculpture is approximately 48 x 24 x 24 in. or (121.9 x 61 x 61 cm.). This sculpture can be seen at the Metropolitan Museum, NYC. In 2009, they co-created the Paradise Pies II, 3/6 Blue. The Paradise pies II is blueberry themed and are topped with a scoop of ice cream, similar to the Shuttlecock/Blueberry Pies I and II. In 2007, they had created the Paradise Pie IV (Red), together. Paradise Pie IV is made with an Acrylic on cast aluminum medium and is approximately 6 ½ x 9 ¼ x 6 in.
