    Van Halen In 1972 the legendary hard rock band known as Van Halen was born in Pasadena, California. From 1974 until 1989, the band consisted of guitarist Eddie Van Halen, vocalist David Lee Roth, drummer Alex Van Halen, and bassist Michael Anthony. Later in 1985 Sammy Hagar replaced David Lee Roth. The band later became famous stars, and in the early 1980s they were one of the most successful and popular rock acts of the time. The album 1994 was their most famous one yet. Their best single, "Jump", became a worldwide hit and their only single to go number one on the Billboard 100. The songs "Panama" and "I'll Wait", both were on top number 13 on the United States charts. So back to what I stated in the beginning, in 1985, the band replaced lead singer David Lee Roth with now lead vocalist Sammy Hagar. While Sammy was the lead singer the group released four U.S. number one albums over a time of 11 years. Hagar left the band in 1996 right before the band released the first greatest hits collection. So Van Halen III was released in 1998, and thrived as an album.…
