  • AAU Basketball Journey

During my time playing AAU basketball so many memories were made. They weren 't just your typical memories though, they were memories I’ll never forget. One of my favorite memories of AAU was during my last year. We went bowling at three different bowling alleys in one day. The first bowling alley was half bowling and half laser tag. My team and another Comets team decided to play laser tag against each other, and of course my team won. As we walked over to the bowling alley, the scent of deep fried food lingered around us. Our blue mouths were filled with laughter from the slushies we ate. As I paused, I took a minute to think of how charmed I was to be enclosed by such stellar girls. As we moved on from bowling alley to bowling alley, more memories were made, giggles were shared, and time seemed as if it was standing still. It may seem like one of the most silly, and pointless things ever, but the time spent with each other was the most enjoyable moments…

  • The Importance Of Photometry In The Laser Interferometer

some useful information about the properties of the object or phenomenon under test. Interferometers are used to make very small measurements that cannot be achieved with any other method. An important application of interferometry is in the Laser Interferometer Gravitation wave Observatory(LIGO) which is used to detect gravitational waves predicted by Einstein.1.1 The LIGO interferometer is like the Michelson Interferometer as shown in…

  • Kinect V2 Case Study

value is calculated as the center of the circle. The difference between the mentioned average depth value and the true depth value is defined as depth accuracy. Specifically, by denoting the depth values measured by a Kinect v2 as a set Formula Md , and the true distance between the planar surface and Kinect as Formula , the depth accuracy can be computed by the following equation Depth accuracy = d − mean(Md ) (3.1) where Mean(.) computes the mean value of (.). To compute the depth accuracy, a…
