Most people care about their appearance, the makeup industrials are growing each day. This ad is basically telling its audience to look ageless, beautiful and young like Ellen DeGeneres. In this print ad, I see Ellen DeGeneres holding a raccoon in comfortable cloth looking at the camera and smiling. The one thing that caught my attention in the ad was Ellens bright skin and smile. The background is white, At the Bottom right is the product which is cover girl+ Olay CC cream and eye cream. On the left corner, it says, “The next big thing in younger looking skin: CC cream” which tells me that the intended audience is middle age women who want to look ageless. The ad design looks like a photograph in the shape of a square. The ad said it promises instant coverage correction. This can easily attract people because Ellen …show more content…
Olay and covergirls]are popular brands, they are usually found in Drugstore. They are affordable. The intended audiences are middle and lower class since the makeup can be found at any drugstore and it's very affordable. The key object you see in the ad is the raccoon and Ellen. This ad can easily grab peoples attention because of the raccoon in the picture and Ellen. This ad can turn people’s insecurity into confidence. This motivates people to buy the makeup because simply by how gorgeous and young ellen looks. The ad targets middle age women who are middle or lower class to buy the product. The raccoon symbolizes dark circle and just uneven skin tone in general. Ellen has bright, flawless skin, it's hard to see the flaws. The ad is trying to reach out people that suffer from dark circles, aging skin, and uneven skin tone. Ellen has a daytime television show with a huge fan base that are middle age.
