    in Subdistricts at 92 lbs. one year ago. The next day I had to make 90 lbs. for middle school duals. If I place in the top 6 places I have a chance to be an alternate or on a dual team for Team Kansas. I got picked up for sub weigh ins by Kaydin Bruner. After about 30 minutes ago I arrived. I was starving just like I had been for the past few days. I made 92 lbs. by a few ounces and could not eat yet. I got home and had a salad and spit in a cup for the next hour or so. “How much are you over?” Brody asked steadily “Over by a pound” I responded sighing Throughout the night I was up constantly weighing myself and worrying about the next day. I woke up around 7:30 AM and got dressed for the tournament. I got there, looked at my bracket and knew it was not going to be a challenging tournament. I lined up behind all of the other wrestlers who were weighing in and waited nervously. I stepped on the scale taking a deep breath and watched as the numbers 90.6 popped up on the scale. I was 6 tenths over. Right away I put on sweats and a sweatshirt and began to run around the gym while other wrestlers were warming up. After close to 30 min of sprinting and jogging I finally made it by one tenth. “I’ll give you money, what do you want to eat?” my dad said “Anything that looks good” I replied taking the money.
