    One of the best places in Arkansas to go to college in order to become a sports reporter would be Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Not only do they have a great Media and Communication Program, but they are also in a great location being only one hour away from Memphis, Tennessee, two hours from Little Rock, and four hours from both St. Louis, Missouri, and Nashville, Tennessee. In order to be accepted into Arkansas State University unconditionally, one must have a high school GPA of at least 2.75. Also a composite score of 21 on the ACT, or a SAT score of 990 is required in order to be accepted. For conditional admission a high school GPA of 2.30 is required. Also a 19 on the ACT or a SAT score of 910-989 is needed. To be accepted into the honors college an ACT score of at least 28 and a high school GPA of 3.5.
