I Want To Go To College Essay

Diagnosis Essay My need to go to college started when I was in middle school, specifically in the 6th grade. I started in a program called Avid, which is for those that want to be held accountable at high standards of learning and supported academically. This program provided the chance to visit Stevenson University; needless to say I loved it. As I got into high school I joined a different program called Bio-medical Allied Health. This is when I knew I had to start looking at colleges if I wanted to be in the medical field. In 8th grade I knew I wanted to be a doctor, everything that I liked doing in school was in a science class. I participate in multiple MESA and Science Fairs, claiming some titles along the way. I liked the environment that was created, small campus but big enough not to get bored too quickly. Doom rooms are large and comfortable enough to feel like a home even being away from home. Class sizes are small and that provides more one on one contact with professors. I want to be able to say I did my best in college and see the hard work pay off in the long run. While I’m in college I want to join clubs, do activities and start a job off campus that has steady pay. To start saving for when I do finish college and start medical school, it isn’t cheap. My main thing I want to do while being in college is to actually finish and follow my dreams. Having been the only child to graduate and go to college, everyone says I can’t do it but I want to prove them wrong. College has always been a part of who I am and who I want to become in the future. I just hope I can follow through with everything I’ve set out to do in college and accomplish them. Stevenson is going to be my home for the next four years and I just want to put forth the effort and do great things here. I don’t want to have to want in life, I want to have things and be able to provide for myself. If I can do something I love like helping people and getting paid then it won’t ever feel like
