Growing up is was no question whether or not I was going to college, it was an automatic yes for me. No one had to ever ask me if I was going to college because they all knew that the answer is yes. The reason why I knew that I had to go to college was because everyone in my family went to college; now don’t just think that because everyone in my family went to college that we are a bunch of rich snobs. We have all been hit with the reality of struggles in life. That’s why I learned quickly that you don’t just go to college so you can get a better education you have to be able to do something with that education. My brother motivates me to excel academically and professionally, through is encouraging words and his nonstop support of me and the decisions that I make throughout my college life. My brother was the only one who did not go to college right out of high school because he did not know what he wanted to do with his life. He was really interested in video games, but the only thing holding him back was that he would not do his work. My brother told me that nothing ever works when you look at education as something that you have to do instead of something that you desire to do. My brother told me that you are successful if you try, even if the odds do not work out in your favor if you tried then you have done everything you can do.
