Steele Charitable Foundation Scholarship Essay

As a child I watched my mom do good for herself and get a college education. She was 38 but that never stopped her. She wanted to be a great role model for her kids and knew how she could help her family. Now it’s my turn to give back to her and show her my appreciation by going to college myself because I believe an education is vital in achieving my long term goal.
My name is Kiana A Harden, and I deserve the Steele Charitable Foundation Scholarship for Texas Honing Incorporated employee’s children because it will provide me much financial security necessary for my college courses, and extracurricular activities for my education next year. Every year, thousands of high school students apply to colleges they desire, and of those thousands, many apply for tuition scholarships as well. So what makes me different and more deserving of this Steele Charitable Foundation Scholarship? I don’t have an exceptionally rare skill that makes me more qualified, but what sets me apart from everyone else and what I Think is unique about me is my work ethic and my drive to succeed.
I believe I deserve this scholarship because I have worked diligently to maintain a high academic achievement while participating in many extracurricular activities and school organizations, while also working a part-time job after school. I know that sounds

Because my drive to persevere and continue to accomplish, both in school and out of school tasks, has always helped me feel a sense of accomplishment and will continue to do so during college and lead me to my greatest success. The use of this scholarship would help ensure a greater case of financial stability throughout the course of my college education at the University of Texas in San Antonio. I will represent your organization appropriately during my years of college and beyond. This investment would be one worthwhile.
