Wiper blades are devices used to remove rain, debris, snow, and ice from the windscreen. They are also known as windshield wipers or windscreen wipers. They are used by most driven machines including motor vehicles, watercraft, train locomotives and aircraft. They are usually a legal requirement for most of these crafts. A wiper usually consists of metal arm balanced at one end and a long rubber blade attached to the other end. The metal arm is mostly powered by electric motor. The rubber blade is swung over the glass, back and forth. This action pushes water, snow and other matter causing poor visibility. The speed is usually adjustable. Blade wipers also have other applications. Some automobiles are fitted with blade wipers on the back window screen as well. This type of blade wipers are commonly found in station wagons or estates, hatchbacks, minivans, sport utility vehicles and other automobiles with vertically mounted rear window screens that are prone to dust accumulation. Modern automobiles are now being equipped with rain sensing wipers that detect the presence and quantity of rain by utilizing a rain sensor. This sensor automatically controls the speed of the wiper blades according to the amount of rain experienced. There is a variety of wiper blades in the market. The thing to keep in mind when shopping for a wiper blade is that it…

A flood is a rising, overflowing body of water (lake, river, ocean, etc.) that rushes onto typically dry land. Flash floods are extremely common during heavy downpours for towns near a body of water. Most usually, these towns are warned about the potential dangers of a flash flood because meteorologists have the remote sensing, which can come in radars, rain gauges, and satellites, to predict the chances of floods. Meteorologists and hydrologists can keep track of precipitation using these…

The communication protocols used in connecting sensors form a network for collecting sensory information called BSN. Patients who are going about their day to day activity can receive quality health monitoring in real time by us of BSN. The BSN nodes are attached to these patients. On a predetermined period, the BSN collect health information such as pulse, blood sugar level and temperature and transmit it to a remote medical aid. This way, the medical personnel are able to keep up to date with…

to feed their stock. Grazing and pasture becomes abundant during raining seasons. In the drier months, grazing fields wither, but pasture recovers shortly during the raining season, and animal population surges during this season. In time, climate change conditions such as rain shortages and prolonged periods of drought, coupled with a population upsurge in the herding communities increases to such a degree that overgrazing lead to an irreversible land deterioration. Thus, the carrying…
