    bureaucracy would be the best organization for modern society. An alternative organizational structure would be inevitably lead to failure. All organizations need some type of a system of rules in order to function correctly If Max Weber was a film critic his review would be related to bureaucracy and how office space was based on an authoritative hierarchy. According to Max Weber, bureaucracy is the most effective and productive way of keeping an organization under control. His ideal bureaucracy was to achieve rationality amongst everyone. Some features included in Weber’s ideas are a precise hierarchy of authority which can be depicted as a pyramid, with a chain of command stretching from the top to the bottom and is governed by written rules of procedure. Weber believes that bureaucracy is in an organization that is effective and develops a practice and familiarity of assigned tasks and workers. The strength of bureaucracy makes task less complicated and easier to follow, which allow the organization to be more successful. The downside of bureaucracy is that workers may be unhappy with their job at hand and not being able to express themselves like they want. Like the movie “Office Space” Peter started to find his work too simple, boring and repetitive. Unlike his coworkers who stayed in this state of constant repetitive and boring lifestyle every day, Peter was able to be hypnotized.
