I'm talking about flat-out banning the possession of handguns and assault rifles by individual citizens” (Stop the Insanity). It is impossible to try to put control on everyone in the United States of when, where, and what type of gun they are or are not allowed to use. If the government tried to take away guns completely there would be absolute chaos. The United States has grown with guns by its side the whole way, which isn't a bad thing. Since guns are a known machinery, taking them away causes more upset than helpfulness. “It has even been suggested that,“gun free zones” actually attract killers who know they will meet only helpless victims rather than anyone able to effectively oppose them” (Gun Free Zones). For every reason that guns should be taken away, an even better reason to keep them follows. Taking something away does not fix the problem. Go ahead and take guns away from the people to prevent crimes, then right after sit back and watch what other ways the people discover to kill a defenseless person who could have had a weapon on them to use self-defense. I understand that there are some reasons that on the surface look like a logical explanation as to why guns should be taken away. With that being said, having a better control on guns saves the people while still satisfying them as well. There is always going to be something that follows after guns if they were to be taken away. Fixing the issue with guns should not be resolved by banning them, putting better control on who has access to them is way more efficient and less
