Using technology in the classroom setting has become a hot topic of research ever since the world started to become so technologically-dependent. Many research experiments support the use of technological devices in the classroom and have proved many benefits it can have on students’ learning. Not only does it benefit the student in the class, but it can benefit them at home as well. Technology is that link the students need between home and school. It allows students to access, review and learn materials without having to be in a classroom with an instructor. Bronfenbrenner’s ecological systems theory helps us to understand how an individual and everything around them is impacted using technology in the classroom. The theory involves different levels of the environment that surround an individual and how they interact with each other to help with the development of the individual. The levels include the microsystem, mesosystem, exosystem, macrosystem, and chronosystem. Each of these levels impact and interact with each other on a small scale as well as a large scale.

Technology being implemented into classrooms has have a great positive effect on everyone including teachers, students and universities. Every decision made regarding technology, whether it directly involved the individual or not, finds its way back to affect the individual in one way or another. This is not the end of the revolution of technology in the classroom; the more studies that are done with the effects of technology on the classroom, the more dependent schools will become on the
