Eliminating the Dangers of Texting and Driving It is 1955 and you are out buying a new Ford for you and your family. There are so many things to consider; what color, two or four doors, coupe, sedan or convertible. Did you want a panoramic windshield for better visibility or the Select Aire option to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter? There is so much to choose from and you become overwhelmed, you look over to your wife and two children and then it clicks. For the very first time in history seatbelt’s now an option, one major upgrade to keep your family safe. The choice was obvious, my family’s safety was more important than the transparent skylight. Although each state was entitled to enforce wearing a seatbelt as a law, it was an added option to keep your family safe. It is now 2016 and you are out with your sixteen year old daughter buying her the first car she will ever drive. You want all the safety features possible to protect your baby as she is now a driver. You have looked at every car on the lot and she finally found it, the perfect car. You start the paperwork and look over at your daughter sitting in her new car, never been happier, talking on her cell phone. In that moment in time, panic rushes over you. Will she be distracted and talk on her phone or text while she is driving? You look over at the car salesman and he can see the panic in your face.
