Texting while driving is one of the most dangerous things that can kill people. Adults and teenagers cannot resist the urge to pick up their cell phone and send a text or respond to one. People do not realize that it is impossible to multitask, while doing each task efficiently. When someone feels a vibration or hears a ring, it is hard to avoid the temptation of checking the notification on one’s phone. Individuals should not take texting and driving lightly because it distracts drivers and can be just as bad as drinking while under the influence.
