"Dunn Dunn" was intended to be a diss directly aimed at rapper T.I., after Shawty Lo assumed T.I. dissed him on his song Big Things Poppin with the lyrics, ‘’See I said Im a king and them lames started laughing, same sucker now want the king on the track with him.”Rapper T.I. then began to call himself the King of the South. This was the start of a highly publicized feud between the two. T.I. later responded by shooting the music video for his single "What Up, What's Happening" in Bowen Homes, Shawty Lo's childhood neighborhood. The feud reached its climax at the November 2008 Dirty Awards, where the entourages of both artists clashed during the ceremony, forcing it to be shut down. It was later publicly ended on March 7, 2009, when Shawty Lo and T.I. appeared on-stage together at Club Crucial in Bankhead, for T.I.'s farewell concert. On March 9, 2009, Shawty Lo released a song titled "Roll the Dice"; the song is known for marking the end of the feud between him and fellow Atlanta-based rapper T.I.
