Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Research Paper

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow was an american poet and educator who was born in Portland, Maine, on February 27, 1807. He studied at Bowdoin College. He stayed some time in London but after a while of living there he became a professor at Bowdoin and then later on in his life, a professor at Harvard College. He is viewed by some as a great poem but others criticize him for some of his work. He lived his last days translating works from foreign languages and writing poems. Henry died in 1882. The rapper Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., better known as T.I., is from Atlanta Georgia. He was born in September 25, 1980. His childhood wasn’t the best and dealt drugs as a young kid. Growing up though, he started rapping and time along with his work brought him where he is at right now. He’s a rapper, author, entrepreneur and many other things. Henry is talking about a more personal battle than what T.I. is talking about. He tells you that death is not the goal and so you fight for what you want and you will get it. You keep walking through the fields no matter what is going on. He also tells you that there are people in history who have done exactly that and that have reached their goals and to look at them as people who can inspire you to do what you enjoy. T.I. is a person who is talking about growing up in a negative environment and how you get hate from people who are around you. He also tells you, though, to ignore them and keep moving forward because these people will do no good for you. These type of people are the type of people who want to see you in the gutter suffering. He tells you that you will have riches along with fancy cars and fancy clothes. He is talking more about being wealthy and not about following a passion and doing what you love but instead is telling you to work hard to one day be able to afford very expensive things and have
