Studies show that if the dog is a male he is going to be mostly likely left-pawed, if it’s a female she is more likely to be right-pawed.Neutered animals show no preference over one paw or the other.Left-pawed dogs are chosen as police dogs or guide dogs and left-pawed dogs have a greater risk for diseases.When testing, clinical trails preform the test around a 100 times.When you ask your dog to shake you can see the paw he prefers most.Paw preferences are evenly distributes among dogs, while humans are 90% right-handed and 10% are left-handed.
