    The Betty and Barney Hill Abduction case is more famous compared to other alien encounters because the other cases were mere followers. Because it is the first public account of alien abduction, there was controversy; the questionable evidence of when, where, and why it happened still intrigues today. First set evidence is looking at when it happened, we can tell it happened in the early 1960’s. It was September 19, 1961, night the Hills were on their way home to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, after a holiday in Montreal. “The story of the alleged UFO abduction of Betty and Barney Hill in New Hampshire in 1961 is well known to the public.” Betty.
