Introduction
Diversity management is a concept which is applied globally in any workplace. Various thinkers and management writes like Ohmae(1999) talked about a world which don’t have any borders and boundaries.
In a global organization people of different gender and age group works together. Organization diversity encompasses not only gender or race but differences and similarities of a person in an organization.
Work force diversity consist of many dimensions, like age, gender, nationality, culture, ethinicity, race and functionalities. It is believed that diverse work groups works better than homnogeneous group. Diversity leads to increased market access, enhanced creativity, and better decision-making. Jehn [14] also said that diversity may encourage social interaction among diverse perspectives to deep conceptual restructuring and new insights. It means that diversity may increase productivity, creativity, and enhanced morale among people. Benefits of diversity management takes time to be assimilated therefore, on part of organization it requires sincere diversity management.
In stressing the importance of diversity management, Stockdale & Crosby in [18] stated that there are two reasons of the importance of diversity management in the workplace. First, the demographic are changing and the descents of ethnic minority families, due to the immigration; and the second is technological advance that make world gets smaller. Therefore with the advent of globalization, different ethnicities are getting closer and hence it requires proper conflict management.

Therefore, a workplace culture to be promoted having shared expectation and collaborative conflict resolution. conflicts due to diversity arises because of following reasons.
People has their beforehand opinion about different groups and ethnicities, when these opinion surfaces and if there is a mismatch between these opinions, conflicts arises.
In the era of globalization, people of different cultures work together. Every culture comes with its own customs and values. What is considered good in one country might not be considered same in the other countries. So when different values surfaces together, difference arise.
Therefore, everyone is required to respect each other’s opinions and cultures for a common ground.
Another major reason of conflict is language problem. Every country has different national language. In India itself there 22 scheduled language. Meaning of same words changes nation to nation. In bilingual workplaces, employees must be careful not to say anything in one language that they wouldn't say in another. It can be damaging and disrespectful if a second language becomes a "code" to keep coworkers from understanding
