What is diversity and what it means to value diversity? Explain how small group effectiveness is diminished by not valuing diversity? I will define diversity and how it is applied while working in a team business environment. I will also show what happens when team members and the team leader does not make use of a diverse team. Diversity can be defined as the characteristics that are both social and physical, which make an individual unique. According to the Managing Groups and Teams textbook, diversity is the uniqueness of each individual which consist of their personality characteristics.
