The book encourages diversity throughout the workplace, as this is important to the structure and overall effectiveness of the organization. In accordance with Kinicki & Fugate, “Diversity pertains to the host of individual differences that make all of us unique and different from others” (p. 96). It is in those differences working together that an organization can see strength.
Kroeger et al. says, “There is no question that while a typologically diverse team may take somewhat longer to accomplish a project, the end result will always be better” (p. 107). This encourages me that in my workplace, since we have such a diverse team and different ways of thinking, that it is always better to work with diversity than without. Although they may need redirection and focus, they will always get the job done better than if it was a bunch of
