As soon as we turn 16, we become eager to get our license; however, it is not as exciting as they would think. It is actually a nightmare. Drivers have to constantly pay attention to the road. In the society today, it makes it hard for us to focus since recently texting and driving has become such a huge issue. Many teens, as well as adults, have formed a habit of using their cell phones while driving their cars. The use of technology has grown steadily for many years, distracting us from things that are more important. It is a huge distraction in most fatal crashes. Thus, the drivers are putting themselves in danger. In the same way, they are also putting other drivers on the roads including passengers in a dramatic danger zone. In the end, texting and driving is a bad habit because it is extremely dangerous, we do not have many laws emphasize this issues, and finally, parents are role models for kids and they constantly are influencing their kids to do the same. Even though there are laws in place we need further regulations on texting and driving we need to stop it because it is a distraction and causes many car accidents. There are not many regulations put in place for texting and driving. One regulation that has been put in was a small fine. In Pennsylvania, the fine for texting while driving is fifty dollars.
