THE TEXT IS NOT MORE IMPORTANT THAN A LIFE! If you have to text someone really badly it only takes a few seconds to pull over and park the vehicle and send the text if it is really that important. Many people have been in really bad car accidents from texting while driving, and some have even died from texting while driving. Texting while driving is a growing trend, and a national epidemic, quickly becoming one of the country’s top killers (TextingandDrivingSafety.com). Mostly teenager’s text and drive, and they do not know what type of danger they are in.. Texting while driving is illegal in thirty eight states (GHSA.org). Car crashes are four times common to take place while the driver is on their cellular device. Many people do not realize how careless they can be while driving. Talking on the phone is not as hazardous as texting. Talking on the phone is easier to keep focused on the road in front of the driver. When people engage in a text message, its not possible for them to look in both directions.
Texting while driving puts many people lives in danger daily. People seem to feel like staying connected to the outside world is more important than focusing on the road. It can really harm other people who are doing nothing other than trying to get to their destination. If people could open their eyes to all the dangers of texting while, it would be less car accidents happening every year and roads would be more safe. Distracted drivers need to know what position they put others in.
Drivers’ should not direct their attention to their cellular phone and they should always keep their eyes on the road. People should not text and drive! When parents text and drive, it has an influence on their children. That causes their kids to pick up the bad habit of texting and driving. Texting and driving is a serious bad habit . People do not think before they do things that are going to harm the people that are surrounding them.
