I believe that nurses have a very special and vital place in this world. To perform the act of helping others get through illnesses and tough times, all while being a huge support system, is incredible. Nurses go through hard schooling, long hours and shifts, and many late nights so they can make a positive difference in the lives of many people, and I think that’s pretty amazing.
I cannot express how thrilled and ready I am to pursue a career in nursing. After witnessing my brothers countless hospital trips due to his epilepsy, I grew a strong admiration for the nurses who showed him compassion, love, and kindness to make him feel safe, despite of his fears. It was then that I decided I wanted to become a nurse one day. As of now, I am hoping
