A career in nursing can be very rewarding though also quite challenging. Nursing is rooted in the fundamental delivery of high quality services. Its development has been a response to changing social needs. Without a doubt, as society changes, health needs become more complex. Consequently, the hours and duties of a nurse are endless. Yet, this is not enough. A nurse often cares for people in their darkest hours; must understand the emotional side of illness; and how it affects the general well-being of his/her patients. These few among the many factors show why nursing still remains a very noble, meaningful, and fulfilling profession.

Second only to patient care, is the involvement with family members, providing both material and emotional support through times of vulnerability and distress. As a potential nursing student, I intend to become a great asset in your highly esteemed university by devoting all my time and efforts to becoming a successful if not outstanding nurse. It is my belief that I have an obligation to use my experience and talent in constructive manners that will benefit the greater human community. I learned how to be passionate about my work so that I can do the best job possible. I planned my own schedule to give myself enough time to finish everything, but also adapted to unexpected occurrences and finished everything to the best of my abilities on time. I learned over my completion of my MBA in just one year that nothing is impossible as long as it approached with dedication, conviction, and a bit of creativity. I am also ready to study in an accelerated environment because I know that I will have the emotional support from my family. A clear understanding of my long term goals, my dedication to those goals, and my ability to multitask have been instrumental in the success of my MBA and recent career.
