I love the idea of minimal monotony and a high volume of patients. The variety of situations that can be seen and the ability to truly allow the patients to have an experience of excellence in care seem to be quite fascinating. I am so excited to be accepted in the Genesee Community College Registered Nursing Program and fulfill my lifelong dream. It has been a very long road to this acceptance and I look forward to the challenges and accomplishments to come. Once I have become a registered nurse, I hope to work in an urgent care and continue with my education by obtaining my Bachelor’s degree. I would like to work as a part time registered nurse and volunteer part time. I have always dreamt of being able to give back to my community and help those that are not able to help themselves. In the long run, depending on where life takes me I will attempt to continue on with my education for a Nurse Practitioners degree as well, so that I may truly change

That is to say, I grew up as compassionate, caring and selfless person. Thus, nursing has opened my eyes and made realize that this profession will enable me to express myself naturally since it involves caring with patients.…
