The Pepsi commercial starts off with a guy buying a Pepsi from a Pepsi vending machine on the sidewalk. He looks at the music band posters on the brick wall in front of him as he takes a sip of the Pepsi. He turns to his friends and yells, "YALLA!!" Later that day, he's being carried on top of a crowd at a rock concert. He's being pushed in a grocery cart by his friends through a parking lot as he holds his Pepsi in his hands. After that, you notice his group of friends and him watching a scary movie at the movie theater while eating popcorn and still drinking Pepsi. Next, you watch them Go-Kart Racing, sliding down a water park slide, and running in the sand at the beach. After that, you witness them playing foosball, cheering on a soccer team, and watching a "boxing" match taking place inside of a bounce house. Following that, …show more content…
Later they're taking a road trip, having a blast at a karaoke club, and having a great at the beach again burying him in the sand. After that you acquire a load of him "cannonballing" into a pool. That night you can watch him and his friends running down a sandy hill with sparklers. He comes to a stop at the bottom of the hill and while holding his sparkler straight up in the air, he takes another sip of his Pepsi. Everything that you notice them doing turns out to be all a daydream in his head. You notice that he is back where he started at the beginning of the commercial.

The actors weren't indoors often, but whenever they were, they were mostly in a public setting (i.e. club, restaurants, etc.). The rooms they are in are modern or "young people" looking. The landscapes that were present in the commercial included the beach, waterparks, and sandy hills. However, there are no birds/animals included anywhere in the Pepsi commercial, only humans. The emotional effects of the objects in the commercial are happiness and enjoyment. The social significance of the objects is to show that you can add Pepsi to whatever you and our friends are

This ad lacks logos because it provides no factual evidence behind the ads main claim; however, the rhetorical appeal that is used the most is pathos, the appeal to emotion. The music in the background is a key factor in provoking emotion from the audience, it makes them stop whatever they were doing and look up at the TV. At the start of the ad, the first sound that is heard is birds chirping however soon after, as the animal factories are being built, the music holds a very depressing and sorrowful tone. This sudden change of sound already has grasped the audience's attention without even seeing the ad yet, simply by listening to the sounds. Next the ad shows the building of the animal factories and slowly it escalates from a small house for one pig to a city of factories and roads that overtake the concept of nature.…

This commercial contains a lot of logos due to the responsibility the main character possesses. The main character in the commercial has the image of an “American Hero” since he doesn’t drink and drive and always returns home to his loved ones. He also is shown as a responsible adult since he always returns the puppy to his rightful place after it escapes. Since the commercial has this view on the main character, the viewers idealize this man because he drinks Budweiser but also makes smart decisions as a responsible adult. With the dog in the picture, it also shows the audience a whole different type of responsibility.…

In the background, music by Drake continues to play while Stephen is working on his game with the CoachUp instructor. Stephen’s voice has a confident tone to it during the advertisement as he is reading his pre-draft scouting report. The most consistent part of the advertisement is Stephen improving what the report said he was not good at. Even though the commercial was a brilliant idea for showing unity by sharing a Pepsi with another person, a large amount of people did not take it the same way. Multitudinous got offended or bothered for using the "Black Lives Matter" as an example of the ad. The Pepsi commercial's purpose was to send a global message of unity, and peace for people from different countries, races, and cultures. Of course, everyone has their own opinion and beliefs, and a bunch of people on social media criticized Pepsi for borrowing imagery from the "Black Lives Matter movement," where African Americans would protest the police officers, and they would most likely get executed.…

First he shows up at the movie theater his daughter and her date are at, something that many people with overbearing parents can connect to. However, after that first seemingly normal attempt at keeping an eye on his daughter, he shows up behind a way of toys at a carnival. And even more surprising still is when he shows up in a helicopter (a helicopter with shark teeth painted on it nevertheless) when the date moves to a typical “make-out spot”. Another subtle surprise is the music choice with Another One Bites the Dust, playing in the background throughout the commercial. This is a surprising pick for a commercial about a date, but ties in nicely with Kevin Hart’s general playfulness throughout the…

The song of choice was “Hey Brother” to enforce that family feeling and show the “Brotherly Love.” The music is played throughout the commercial starting off slow and hitting the high point of the song at the climax of the commercial to get to a person’s ethos and pathos. The precise point the company climaxes the scene on the screen and the music being played is at the exact spot they are to get the most powerful, emotional feelings they can out of a person. The songs lyrics talk about there being nothing they wouldn 't do for their brother and that is what is seen in the commercial. When the commercial nears the end and it is perceived as the younger of the two brothers is going to be robbed of his coke; the older brother comes in and risk having to fight three kids or doing anything for his brother to get his Coke back.…

The three ads, Dew or Die, Mock Opera, and Showstopper, although incomplete show great potential to be effective. Because the market is quite young for this soft drink, the ads need to be personable and connected to our millenial times. With the great stress of social media, messages can be spread to millions in seconds. This can be both a good thing and a bad thing. If the message isn’t perfectly clear, a company can suffer greatly from its poor actions.…

Coca-Cola has produced thousands of advertisements since the company’s creation with the goal of appealing to a broad range of consumers. Stylistically, Coca-Cola advertisements have changed over time, but their goal remains the same. This paper will use two Coca-Cola advertisements, one released in the United States in 1886 and the other in The Netherlands in May 2015, to discuss the delicate balance between using generalized advertisements compared to a more personalized style. Both of the advertisements advocate for personal satisfaction and a desire to be inclusive. In both cases, they present a range of consumers that can achieve personal happiness.…
