In fact, my husband is also a RN and is a devoted supporter of my endeavour. Last semester I have successfully completed NURS 516 with the final grade of 91%. I am currently enrolled in NURS 517 and find my academic achievements compatible to the ones of the previous course. The enrollment offered me a good perspective on the level of expectations and encouraged me to acquire resources such as a membership at the hospital library and UpToDate.com membership. During my professional career, I have developed personal connection with several nurse practitioners that became my role models, a resource and an inspiration to become one.
I am a strong advocate of an accessible primary health care where patients can be comfortable engaging in own care, feel supported in understanding their illness, while being empowered in decision making to improve their health. Since my nursing career experience includes all ages starting with the newborn babies to elderly population with multiple comorbidities, I would like to be able to provide accessible collaborative, family centered care to the patients across the age
