It is my objective to acquire dynamic skills that will enable me to deliver qualitative and compassionate care to all patients in the community. It is my long-term goal is to become an advanced practice registered nurse and ultimately become a nurse educator imparting knowledge to others. Since the transition process from a registered nurse to family nurse practitioner is challenging, I will need to attain four critical goals that include, competing my undergraduate degree, undertaking certification examinations as registered nurse, work in community based clinic to advance my experiences, and complete my master’s degree to become a family nurse practitioner.

Three groups that rely on information include physicians, nurses, and lab technicians. Physicians need information to make accurate diagnosis, give treatment directions or adjustments and follow-up patient progress. Nurses need information and data to administer the right course of treatment as prescribed by physicians. Lab technicians need information to determine the type of tests or examinations needed for each case.
