HOW DO I SEE MYSELF?
My personality focuses on social aspects, but it also requires that I give myself some time. According to the Jungian Type-16 personality indicator, I’m an ENFP – that is an extrovert, intuitive, feeling and perceiving person. I’m a person who is energized by being around other people. I don’t prefer being alone, and I believe that I’m the type of person who talks her feelings out unless it comes to certain crucial decisions. I prefer putting in a lot of thought into my decision. I tend to believe in my intuitions, and draw conclusions from things that cannot be sensed. I take in information by looking at the big picture, focusing on the relationships between facts. I work towards learning new things and changing the world instead of living in the imperfect world that we’re in. I’m a person who perceives. I understand a situation carefully before taking action. I prefer learning about life from experiences and am open to last-minute options. I’m also a Type-B personality, meaning that I typically like to have a laid-back time. I don’t tend to over-schedule and take enough time to ensure that I get my work done before the deadline. I tend to focus on the quality of my work over the number of tasks I complete over a period of time. My creativity level score of 10 shows that I have a creative personality. I’d done the CAPS assessment at the beginning of the course, according to which I’m a Supporter. The CAPS assessment helps in assessing which team role is perfect for a member – Controller, Analyzer, Promoter, Supporter. A supporter is the member of the team who does the work, the people’s person in the team. My score of 67 in the “How Good Are My Listening Skills?” shows that I’m a good listener. As a people-oriented team member, I listen to the opinions and also take emotions of fellow team members when making a decision.
I prefer working in a team than working alone. A score of 103 in the “How Good Am I At Building and Leading Teams?” shows that I’m effective as a team player because I can be an effective player in the five stages of team building – Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing,
