She stayed at the house of a Leinster couple (Leinster being a area of the Republic of Ireland) with two mute daughters. The daughters were travelling with St Brigid when her horse startled them, causing her to hurt her head on a stone. A touch of Brigid's blood healed the two girls. As seen, St Brigid cared very much for those around her and was willing to help those who needed, leaving her a woman to be admired (New Advent, 2015).
