There are many endangered species in the Great Barrier Reef. One specific species is critically endangered, which means it is in high risk of becoming extinct, at any moment. That species is the Hawksbill sea turtle. Most people should be concerned, because they’re going extinct because we’re throwing plastic into the ocean.
