And not to be critical, but “Gothic” isn’t a style you’d normally spot on children, let alone bright and bubbly poofy princesses. That and the fact that lolita was kinda based on floral printed and simple dresses. That brings us to Classic Lolita. Classic Lolita is pretty basic, the normal anatomy. While, yes, Classic is deemed to be more mature due to the “lighter than Gothic, less pink than Sweet” thing, but is one of the more tame types. It’s something you’d see and go “What a pretty dress! Very summer-y.” Or you might deem it a nice choice for church or a garden party. Classic is very elegant and don’t have very bold colors. Deco is actually a very interesting style in lolita given it’s a fusion of Sweet lolita and the Decora fashion that came to light around the same time that lolita got its signature look. Decora is cute and bright clothes and accessories such as hair-clips, bracelets, necklaces, and bags. Adding it to Sweet lolita just makes it more pastel bright rather than vibrant bright. It can also be in darker colors like…

Are You Infected? “No way! Not Possible! All lies!” Those are the words I want to say to save the faces of humanity, but unfortunately, what the authors wrote about in swollen expectation is true for many. De Graaf, Wann, and Naylor compare our “lot more stuff and much higher material expectations than previous generations did” to an diseases that will continue to spread and swell our expectations more (De Graaf, Wann, Naylor). What these authors said was an overstatement; one that did not…

I want to tell you about the plot of the movie, to the actors in it and how dynamite their performance was in making this film a #1 Hit. A very wealthy, and successful lawyer, Edward Lewis, stumbles across a beautiful and…

“I don’t think of kids as a lower form of the human species.”-John Hughes. The films of the late John Hughes culminated the influence of a generation in comedy, while marking an advent of cinematic ingenuity during the 1980’s. Selling jokes and working in the offices of National Lampoon Magazine, Hughes arrived on-screen in his early 30’s. Ushering in a series of teen hits such as, Sixteen Candles (1984), The Breakfast Club (1985), Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986), and Pretty in Pink (1986),…
