“Pretty Woman” is a trumped-up, adult oriented version of “Cinderella”. This movie is by far one of my favorite romantic comedies from the 1990’s. If you haven’t seen “Pretty Woman” I highly recommend that you do, if you're a hopeless romantic such as myself. I want to tell you about the plot of the movie, to the actors in it and how dynamite their performance was in making this film a #1 Hit. A very wealthy, and successful lawyer, Edward Lewis, stumbles across a beautiful and…

Are You Infected? “No way! Not Possible! All lies!” Those are the words I want to say to save the faces of humanity, but unfortunately, what the authors wrote about in swollen expectation is true for many. De Graaf, Wann, and Naylor compare our “lot more stuff and much higher material expectations than previous generations did” to an diseases that will continue to spread and swell our expectations more (De Graaf, Wann, Naylor). What these authors said was an overstatement; one that did not…

dismay or even apathy of their respectively societies. E.E. Cummings’ “anyone lived in a pretty how town,” is perfect example of how individualism is viewed in a conformist society, as well as sheds light on the poet’s own views of conformity. “Pretty Tough” is much more than a brand or a film, but it just so happens that their narrative short will be shown at the Artemis Film Festival this year. The main premise of the story is that of two competitive sisters who join the high school soccer team. Recently, I had the opportunity to ask Jane Schonberger about this film and the importance of raising strong girls in today’s society. What inspired you to pursue a career in the entertainment industry? A love for stories and…
