The abortion debate is a heated topic in today’s world, which asks whether or not it is moral to have an abortion instead of carrying the child to full term and having the child. While some people think that abortion is always morally wrong, some believe that abortion is always morally right. For the sake of my argument, I will argue that abortion is morally acceptable in all cases. Whether it’s because the mother cannot care for the baby, or if the mother is going to have health issues as a result of having the baby, I will argue that abortion is always morally acceptable in any circumstance. Ethically, I will argue for moral subjectivism. In the case of Roe vs. Wade, the supreme court decided that abortion is a fundamental right. While,…

I have strong feelings on this topic. I do not feel that abortion is an option for females. Once a life is created it is just that; it is a life and should be treated as such. As a nurse it is difficult for me to support abortion for any reason except when the life of the women is in grave danger. Life is precious and should be treated that way. I do however support birth control and outreach programs that make assistance available to females in need. Representative…

In 1973 the Supreme Court made abortion legal in the United States via their landmark Roe v. Wade decision. Before, when abortion was illegal, it was common to get “back alley” abortions” were they could die or lose fertility. As such a controversial topic, the United States can't make abortion illegal. Instead, states would chip away at the legality of abortion. This “slippery slope” will eventually make abortions de facto illegal. We need a constitutional amendment legalizing abortion fo it…
