Arguments For Abortion

I have strong feelings on this topic. I do not feel that abortion is an option for females. Once a life is created it is just that; it is a life and should be treated as such. As a nurse it is difficult for me to support abortion for any reason except when the life of the women is in grave danger. Life is precious and should be treated that way. I do however support birth control and outreach programs that make assistance available to females in need.

One View Claim: All states in the United States should legalize abortion and allow women to decide if they want to continue with their pregnancy. Reason one: Abortion should be legalized because women whose health is threatened by their pregnancy should have the option to end the pregnancy and preserve their life. Reason two: Another reason why women should have the right to abort is because women that have been raped and as a consequence get pregnant should have the option to abort.…

I was five-hundred miles from home with my hat and gloves engaged in fighting the cold air while my heart protested against Roe. Hundreds of thousands of people had come from various states around the country to speak out against the legalization of abortion. It was early, and the lot of us were in tandem on a narrow city block near the capital building where effervescent speakers told their story, readying us for the march. Signs were gathered and voices were prepped as we made way to the streets. We marched for life.…

One of the issues I have is with the abortion of fetus’ after the 24 week period. I feel that if you know in the beginning that you aren’t going to want to keep the child, then why wait so long for the abortion. Some babies are able to survive after only twenty-eight weeks of being in the womb. This is another reason I am pro-life. Another issue that I can identify with related to my hypothesis is the religious viewpoint of abortion.…

When it comes to the discussion of abortion, most people want to say how it should be banned. The question whether it should be illegal or not should not even be a question to begin with. The government should not have a say whether a female can be able to give birth or not. Abortion is not just "killing babies," as over-emotive opponents want to argue about that. There should not be anti-abortion nor pro-abortion, but should only be pro-choice.…

Abortion is a huge problem that has caused a wide range of controversy all over the United States. There are two sides to the problem, which are people who oppose abortion or support it. Abortion becomes a big deal when trying to decide whether a fetus should be considered a human being already when a woman aborts. In my case I believe that a woman should not be able to abort a child inside her unless there is some type of serious medical issue where the child may not come out alive. When a woman aborts a child, they did not want, it is like the killing of another human being who had no say or ever did anything wrong to deserve it.…

Another topic that has been used against pro-choice supporters and abortionists is the topic of abortion being “immoral”. Pro-life supporters talk about the immorality of abortion by saying that it is the murder of babies. On the contrary, abortion is not even remotely close to murder. Murder, by definition, is the act of one human taking away the life of another human. The pregnancy is not a human yet and therefore, cannot be referred to as a human (even abortion doctors refer to the embryo as the pregnancy) which means that abortion is not equal to murder.…

Abortion Abortion is a very controversial topic. It refers to the termination of pregnancy by removing the fetus from a mother’s womb. Abortion laws are different in each state. Proponents of abortion argue that every woman has the right to abort her pregnancy and a fetus is not a human until it is born. However, people should remember that life begins as soon as the baby is conceived so aborting a fetus means murdering a baby.…
