Late Term Abortion Abortion is a vast topic of controversy. My standpoint is that all forms of abortion are wrong and unethical. Late term abortion is one of the most heartless operations done of them all. Not only is the baby denied the very opportunity to live, but the operation itself is cruel and immoral. There are many different views on when a fetus actually becomes human. Is it really our place to decide? Even some abortionists use the term “baby” which makes what they are doing even worse; they admit it. From day one, the one cell of 46 chromosomes contains every detail of what the baby will look like to their gender and eye color. By the second month, organs are forming as well as fingers and toes and so on. In month three, brain function is beginning. A nonliving thing does not have organs.
